Julia Grace stylists attend Sassoon Academy Class

Stylists of Julia Grace Salon attended an advanced cutting & coloring class put on by the professionals of the Sassoon Academy. At Sassoon the teaching and learning philosophy is developed in the form of a pyramid. Beginning with the abc courses where stylists learn the understanding of the dynamics of hair through the Sassoon proprietary methods; abc cutting and coloring hair the Sassoon way. Stylists were taught new methods to control and craft hair, understand how shape and balance works, and how to accentuate skin tone and enhance the bone structure in the face.

The goal of this course was to redefine boundaries and explore the possibilities of hair design. Learning the basic rules and then adding our own creativity is what makes these classes worth while. We look forward to using new techniques learned on our clients and hope they are as excited about it as we are!

Spring Highlights!

Stylists at Julia Grace Salon participated in a Goldwell Trend Zoom class on Monday, May 2nd. Among things learned were new foiling techniques for spring, a new collection of colors as well as ways to intermix cool and warm tones for great dimension in your hair.

Ali graduated cosmetology school from VC Aveda Institute of Madison. She was born and raised and Los Angeles, California and moved to Wisconsin shortly before enrolling at Aveda. She has always had a passion for the industry and knew growing up that is what she wanted to do with her life.

Ali is a very outgoing and social person. She truly cares about her clients and wants the best results for them. She does an outstanding job as a hair professional and is looking forward to building a clientele at Julia Grace Salon.

We are so excited to introduce our newest service at the salon! A Hair Extension service that offers the finest and highest quality of 100% human hair extensions.

In a one-stop service you will get all your hair extension needs. Whether you're looking for VOLUME, LENGTH, or even a pretty HIGHLIGHT COLOR we have the style and method you need, when you need it.

Our new extensions are quick and easy to apply, as well as extremely natural looking. There is NO need for heat, glue, or any type of chemicals. The extension is held in place by an aluminum bead that is threaded on the inside, which secures the extension without damaging the natural hair. This method will last 3-4 months depending on clients hair growth. Hair can also be reused!

These extensions do come in packages. An average head will use 3-4 packages. An advantage to this is being able to add hair in the places you need it. Hair extensions aren't just for length! An example is some clients have difficulty growing hair around the front/bang area. One package of these extensions can solve that problem immediately!

Prices range from $150-$600 depending on what you are looking to have done. Filling in sides/bang area, color highlights/lowlights and adding volume are different than adding a full head for length. Hair is sold by packages. An average head may require 4-5 packages for a full extension application. This is why a consultation is mandatory.
